  • Taking on new employees just got easier

    Gone are the days of completing multiple paper forms when a new employee starts.

    Pre-filled Tax file number declaration and Super Choice forms can now be completed by your employees using their ATO online services account linked through myGov.

    You will need to provide your employees with:

    • your ABN
    • the type of employment you will hire them under, for example, full time, part time or casual
    • your nominated default super fund's details, including:
      • full name
      • unique superannuation identifier (USI)
      • their ABN.

    Your employees will then need to print out the completed form summary and give this to you. Once you've received the form, you can:

    • work out how much tax to withhold from payments you make to them
    • pay their super to their chosen super fund.

    You don't need to return this form to us, but you will need to keep it for your records.
