Does your business pay contractors to provide one or more of these services:
If so, you may need to lodge a Taxable payments annual report (TPAR), under the Taxable payment reporting system (TPRS), by 28 August.
If your business offers new or expanded services (such as those listed above) in response to COVID-19 restrictions and you've been paying contractors to provide these services, you may need to complete aTPAR.
We've created webinars for each service sector to help you know whether your business needs to report and if it does, understand how to prepare, record and report your TPAR.
Keeping good records throughout the year should make lodging easy.
Lodging your TPAR electronically is quick and simple. If you have business software check if it's TPAR ready or check with your software provider. If you don’t have software you can use the ATO online TPAR. Your registered tax professional can also lodge a TPAR on your behalf.
