    We may be able to offer you a payment plan tailored to your situation, while your bill is still manageable. This means you can pay your outstanding debt in a way that helps and supports you to get back on track.

    Once set up, you can opt-in to receive reminders for your payment plan instalments via text or email.

    You can propose a payment plan or opt-in for reminders:

    • online through ATO online services (sole traders only)
    • through your registered tax agent
    • by phoning us.

    You can also propose a payment plan online through the Business Portal.

    You can make pre-payments at any time, in any amount, as often as you like. You don't need to wait for a bill from us.

    If you’ve been impacted by bushfires, we understand your priority is on your family and community. We'll help you sort out your tax affairs later.

    Automatic deferrals are available for lodgments and payments for bushfire-impacted postcodes. We have a list of these postcodes on our website.
