  • Lodging your activity statement online

    4 December 2019

You can lodge your activity statement online through:

    • Business Portal
    • Online Services for individuals and sole traders (accessed via myGov)
    • SBR-enabled software.

Some of the perks of lodging online include:

    • extra two weeks to lodge and pay your quarterly activity statement (most small businesses are eligible)
    • all day, every day access
    • calculations to help you avoid mistakes that could potentially delay a refund
    • reviewing your activity statement before lodging.

If you lodge through the Business Portal:

    • your activity statement will look a little different from 29 November 2019. This does not impact how you lodge or pay.
    • you won't be able to log in using AUSkey or Manage ABN Connections (your myGov account) from the end of March 2020. myGovID will be the new way you log in - try it today.

Remember, registered tax agents and BAS agents can help you with your tax.
