    Electronic BAS and PAYG notices

Are you a sole trader who normally receives a paper BAS or pay as you go (PAYG) instalment notice? Do you have a myGov account linked to the ATO?

We now send your BAS and PAYG instalment notices to you electronically via your myGov Inbox. We’ll send a notification to your myGov Inbox when your BAS or PAYG instalment notice is ready. Remember to check your myGov account for your activity statement and PAYG reminders.

If you have a tax agent or BAS agent, they’ll be able to view these notifications and complete transactions on your behalf through their preferred electronic channel.

If you have a prior arrangement with us to continue receiving paper BAS or PAYG instalment notices, then you won’t be affected by this change.
