    New features in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) help you manage your organisation links and authorisations.

    Renewing your organisation link in RAM

    If you're a primary personExternal Link, you can only be linked to an organisation in RAM for up to 12 months. You will receive emails reminding you to renew your organisation link in RAM before it expires.

    If you still require access to government online services on behalf of your organisation, log into RAM and follow the prompts to renew your link or visit Renew your business linkExternal Link. You can renew your link from 40 days before the expiry date and notifications will also appear in RAM to remind you.

    Your renewal will not affect the authorisations you’ve set up for others, such as authorisation administrators and authorised users. They will be able to continue to access government online services on behalf of the organisation.

    Renew a Basic authorisation in RAM

    Basic users can only be authorised in RAM for up to 12 months. The principal authority or authorisation administrator will receive a notification to renew Basic authorisations for the organisation before expiring. Basic users will also receive an email with information letting them know their authorisation is expiring.

    The principal authority or authorisation administrator can either renewExternal Link a single Basic authorisation or multiple Basic authorisations.

    An expired authorisation cannot be used. If a Basic authorisation expires, a principal authority or authorisation administrator will need to re-authorise the Basic user who may need to complete additional proof of identity requirements depending on the government online service they need to access.
