  • Get ready for myGovID and RAM

Do you use AUSkey to access government online services on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation?

myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) will replace AUSkey at the end of March 2020. This provides you and your NFP a new, simple and secure way to access government online services.

You can use myGovID and RAM to access the Business Portal, Access Manager and the Australian Business Register (ABR), and additional services will be added in the future.

You can continue to use AUSkey while you make the move to myGovID and RAM.

In preparation for this change, NFPs should check that:

    Transitioning to myGovID

When you are ready to move from AUSkey to myGovID and RAM, download the myGovID app from the App Store or Google Play and follow the prompts.

It's important that every person who acts on behalf of your organisation online has their own myGovID. The myGovID app is compatible with most smart devices using:

    • iOS 10 or later
    • Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later

If you are an eligible individual associate listed on the ABR you will be able to link your NFP's ABN to your myGovID in RAM. This will allow you to authorise others to act on behalf of your organisation.

We are aware that some NFPs have non-individual associates (e.g. a trust with a corporate trustee). If this applies to you, a solution will be available for you to start transitioning to myGovID and RAM in early 2020.

Look out for further developments in the Not-for-profit newsroom.
