  • Make the move: Get a myGovID before 27 March

AUSkey and Manage ABN Connections retire on Friday 27 March 2020. You will need to use myGovIDExternal Link and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM)External Link to access the Business Portal and other government online services after this date.

If you use the Business Portal, get your organisation ready with myGovID and RAM now.

    How to get started

If you are the principal authority (eligible associate listed for the ABN on the Australian Business Register) or primary person (a responsible person listed with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) for the organisation) of an NFP, visit Relationship Authorisation ManagerExternal Link and follow the steps:

    • Get your myGovID digital identity.
    • Set up your organisation by linking your myGovID to your ABN in RAM.
    • Authorise others to act online for your organisation. They will also need to get a myGovID before they can accept the invitation to act for your organisation.
    • If you have multiple AUSkey users to authorise, you can use the Import AUSkey users function to create multiple authorisations in RAM, this function is only available until AUSkey retires on 27 March 2020.

It's important that the principal authority of your organisation checks that the ABN details are correct on the Australian Business Register, before attempting to link your organisation in RAM.

If a primary person is linking the business, they will need to ensure their details are correct with the ACNC before following the instructions on the RAM websiteExternal Link for linking a primary person.
