• 4.3 What's our baseline?

    • The baseline is our starting point for comparing performance before and after the implementation of the compliance strategies.
    • The baseline is the actual performance against each indicator (or the set of indicators) in the current year or a specified previous year.
    • Establish whether baseline data is readily available.
    • If baseline data is not readily available, then gather data from the first year of implementation of the strategy as the starting point for measuring the impact of the compliance strategy in future years.
    • If necessary, establish systems to collect the data and the controls required to ensure the integrity of that data.
