  • Activity statement financial processing - one system for all tax accounts

Plans are underway to carry out a system change during our December closure, which will move the majority of taxpayer financial information into a single accounting system with multiple accounts.

Called Activity statement financial processing (ASFP), this change will shift activity statement and franking deficit tax accounts from our legacy system into our primary accounting system. It will provide us with a single accounting system covering the different taxes we adminitser.

This change is an important step in improving our digital services to deliver a reliable and contemporary client experience, and provides us with a foundation for future service enhancements.

Clients and their intermediaries will see a number of improvements and functions available in some ATO online services.

During our closure, a number of our online services will be unavailable, including SuperMATCH 2, EmployerTICK1 & 2, FVS, EPF, MAAS, MATS and the SBSCH.

The SuperTICK Single request service (SRP) will be available during this period, however the SuperTICK Bulk request service (BRP) will not.

Our System maintenance page and Superannuation DashboardExternal Link will be updated with planned system outages and we will keep you informed through ongoing communication.
