SuperTICK3 – Deferral of mandatory reporting of open and closed accounts

Mandatory reporting of “open and closed accounts” using SuperTICK3 has been deferred until 31 March 2017.

This will allow the ATO to further investigate and remediate SuperTICK3 performance issues and provide you with more time to plan your transition.

If you are already using SuperTICK3 you can continue to do so. Please note you do not need to report open and closed accounts until 31 March 2017, although we encourage early adoption.

The legislative instrument with the new compliance date of 31 March 2017 will issue soon.

The ATO will continue to offer SuperTICK versions 1 and 2 until at least 31 March 2017.

If any of these dates cause you difficulties, please contact us.

We will continue to keep you informed on our progress to improve the SuperTICK3 service.
