    Outage update 16 December

The Commissioner of Taxation Chris Jordan has released a statement in relation to the ATO online services outage. Read the statement on our collaboration platform Let’s TalkExternal Link, along with previous media statements.

Information from our technical support teams this afternoon indicates we can still expect to be able to start bringing services back online on Monday 19 December.

We will begin testing early Monday morning and will gradually increase volumes through the day. Further details will be in the next CRT Alert at 5pm.

All scheduled maintenance for this weekend has been cancelled.

Feedback from some funds indicate moneys are being received after our payment processing systems started coming back online last night. We are still checking to ensure all monies from the 8 December USM run have been issued.

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) will make a statement this afternoon in response to your concerns and feedback about potential compliance breaches as a result of this outage event. We will provide an update on this in our next CRT Alert at 5pm.
