    ATO online services outage update

    Our technical teams undertook a significant amount of work over the Christmas period to continue to restore our services.

    The performance of our core services such as and portals continue to improve and we are bringing other functions and tools back online every day.

    The complexity of the restoration means we have more work to do to return our services to normal. There may be some disruptions to services as this work continues.

    We had previously reported an extended outage to undertake some critical infrastructure repairs. This work was not fully completed and we now require a further planned outage from 10pm AEDT Friday 6 January until 10pm AEDT Saturday 7 January. We have also cancelled the previously scheduled outage from 7 to 8 January.

    Super services status update

    Our production environments in SBR1 and SBR2 are functioning. All super services on those platforms are available in a limited-volume capacity, including:

    • SuperTICK versions 1, 2 and 3
    • SuperMatch 1 and 2
    • Fund Validation Service (FVS)
    • Electronic Portability Form (EPF) and
    • EmployerTICK.

    All backlogs have been processed for these services and you should raise any issues with your ATO account manager.

    We are working to fully restore External Vendor Testing Environments (EVTE) for both SBR1 and SBR2. Some EVTEs are available (e.g. FVS) and others will be restored as soon as possible.

    We are also working to restore the online transaction portal for Departing Australia Superannuation Payments (DASP).

    The Bulk Data Exchange (BDE) channel is available and all backlogs for the SuperTICK bulk/batch service have now been processed.

    The Electronic Commerce Interface (ECI) channel is also available. Some funds will have received payments without the corresponding Remittance Advice and Recovery Notice (RARN). We have confirmed RARNs are being processed and will continue to retrigger RARNs dated from 8 December 2016 onwards. We will provide further updates as they become available.     In CRT Alert 065/2016 we confirmed the next unclaimed super money (USM) Remittance run is scheduled for 19 January and the next Super Guarantee (SG) Legacy payment run will be on 1 February.

Please note we have not yet restored performance data (response times) for super services on the dashboard.
