    ATO online services outage update

    Our technicians worked over the weekend to replace critical storage system infrastructure. Their completion of this work restores our full infrastructure and builds essential redundancy into our systems.

    We can now undertake work to increase the capacity of the systems and complete postponed work to improve the performance of the SBR2 platform services of SuperTICK3 and SuperMatch2.

    We have a planned outage this weekend to implement these upgrades, commencing Friday 13 January at 11.15pm. Services will resume by 9am Sunday 15 January. Contact centres, including the SBR Service Desk, will not be available during the outage. Please monitor the Superannuation DashboardExternal Link for the latest information.

    Work to restore SBR1 services to full capacity is continuing. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

    Current response times have returned to normal, with some occasional exceptions. We will publish performance statistics to the software developersExternal Link homepage later this week. You should continue processing normal transaction volumes but we ask that you contact your ATO account manager before transacting in unusually high volumes this week. Please report any response time issues to the SBR Service Desk in the first instance.

    Test environments

    Our external vendor testing environment (EVTE) for SBR2 services has moved to the cloud-based Amazon Web Services (AWS). Developers should contact their ATO account manager for instructions on the new connection points and configuration requirements and report any issues through the SBR Service Desk. This includes testing for SuperTICK3 and SuperMatch2, as well as government-to-business contributions and rollovers version 2.

    EVTE for SBR1 services is still unavailable although this is a high priority. We will provide an update on expected restoration timeframes as soon as possible.

    Other issues

    We are working to resolve problems with issuing remittance and recovery notices (RARNs). If you have not received RARNs within the expected timeframes, please log this issue through the SBR Service Desk and work with your ATO account manager as necessary.

    The Departing Australia Superannuation Payment (DASP) online transaction portal is still unavailable and remains a priority for us. Members can claim DASP using paper forms during the outage. We will provide further advice on timeframes for restoring this online service as soon as possible.
