    Incident update

Yesterday the ATO experienced intermittent system issues affecting our mainframe, which resulted in the need to take our services offline for several hours. You can read our media release for more details.

Superannuation services were offline from after 3:30pm until around 8pm AEST. Services experienced degraded performance in the hours immediately after they resumed but returned to normal performance overnight.

Electronic Portability Form batch processing occurred as normal overnight and there were no remittance or recovery runs scheduled. The Fund Validation Service (FVS) batch processes also completed successfully overnight, and today's FVS file became available overnight as usual.

Issues with our SBR2 cloud-based external vendor testing environment (EVTE) earlier today have also been resolved.

We recognise the impact of this incident on your operations and we apologise for this inconvenience. We are investigating the causes of yesterday's incident and will provide further details soon.

If you experience any further problems, please contact your ATO account manager or the SBR Service Desk.
