Superannuation clearing house issues now resolved

We have now fixed all outstanding issues affecting the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH).

Last Friday evening we sent payments and contribution transaction request (CTR) messages for employer payments lodged up to and including Friday 13 April. Last night we processed messages and payments dating from Monday 16 April and resumed normal processing. We are holding a small number of CTRs requiring some manual intervention and we're working directly with affected super funds to process these messages.

Yesterday we updated our SBSCH system status page for employers confirming the ATO does not hold any payments dating from before 16 April (except for the small number requiring manual intervention). The status page also reassures employers about the conditions under which they are considered to have met their superannuation guarantee obligations.

If you experience any further difficulties contact SuperCRT@ato.gov.au.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue. We would especially like to thank those industry partners, including the Superannuation Industry Response Group, who worked directly with us to resolve these issues.

    Next step:
