EFT payments scheduled 29 May - Super Guarantee and USM

On 4 May we notified you of an issue where electronic funds transfer (EFT) payments for the super guarantee remittance run and the USM remittance run had been paid as one amount. Unfortunately, this scenario has occurred again and impacts the super guarantee remittance run of Thursday 24 May and USM remittance run scheduled for 30 May.

We are currently testing a system fix to resolve this issue permanently and we will review our processes to mitigate this issue moving forward.

In some instances we have been able to stop the EFT payment from generating to those funds that have previously told us they are unable to process SuperStream messages under these circumstances. This will help speed up the remediation of this issue and allow us to regenerate payments to your members as quickly as possible. We will contact each fund where we have stopped the payment and advise any further action required. This contact will be made by 1 June 2018.

For other funds that are able to process these remittances we can confirm the messages are correct and will match the total of the payment received.

    What you need to do?

If you receive a combined payment and two separate messages and are having difficulty in processing these payments you will need to reject the messages and return the payment.

Please advise when the payment and message has been rejected by emailing Super CRT.
