  • Lost super campaign

We are running a targeted digital advertising campaign on lost and unclaimed super from 9 November to 8 December 2018, building on our recent postcode data release. The campaign continues our efforts to raise awareness and encourage individuals to check for lost or unclaimed super.

We're targeting individuals aged 30 to 50 – who represent 64% of lost super accounts – living in postcodes with the most lost or unclaimed super.

Our key messages in the campaign to your members are:

    • There’s $17.5 billion in lost and unclaimed super across Australia. It’s worth the search to see if any is yours.
    • Have you ever changed your job, address or name? If so you could have lost super!
    • Make sure you get what you’ve earned. Log into myGov to search for lost super.
    • There’s someone in Australia with $220,000 of lost super. Is it you?
    • Think you may have lost super? It’s worth the search.
    • Keep track of your super. For a better future.

    Next steps:

    • We encourage you to share these messages with your members to help us in reducing lost and unclaimed super.
