  • Nomination for ATO co-design group – a new event-based reporting engagement product

With the transition to event based reporting, the Diagnostic Report for large APRA funds is no longer fit for purpose. As such, we are designing a new contemporary, engagement solution to better meet the needs of the ATO and Industry under the new reporting framework.

The new solution will be a reporting mechanism which will take advantage of the event-based information reported through the Member Account Attribute Service (MAAS) and the Member Account Transaction Service (MATS).

We are seeking nominations from Industry to establish a small co-design working group. Members will have the opportunity to provide input into the design by providing their reporting experiences and insights on the statistical data that would assist an entity’s operational performance and conformance and engagement with the ATO and other parts of their organisation.

The co-design working group meetings will be held as required, with the first meeting to be held in November 2019.

    Expectations of members

    Members will be required to:

    • actively participate in discussions and contribute to the work of the group including timely response to action items
    • bring relevant knowledge and expertise of the subject matter, either from own experience or by canvassing the organisation they represent
    • bring emerging issues impacting stakeholders to the attention of the group for appropriate consideration
    • communicate with their organisation’s members the outcomes of the group’s meetings (as applicable).

How to submit an expression of interest

The expression of interest forms are available via Superannuation Community on Let's Talk. You will need to complete this form to register your interest in becoming a member of the co-design group.

Membership is restricted to one representative per organisation therefore, we expect your organisation to have co-ordinated a nominee prior to submitting the expression of interest. Applications will close 5.00pm AEST 25 October 2019.
