Superannuation online tool enhancements

We are introducing enhancements to some superannuation online tools in November as part of a broader program of change, to improve our online services for the community.

We will implement the following changes:

  • An enhanced SuperMatch 2 service for super funds and their suppliers offering a more streamlined approach with users only needing to accept the online terms and conditions about how they can use the service.
  • Deployment of SuperTICK version 3 in Standard Business Reporting 2 (SBR2). SuperTICK allows funds to validate member TFN details when processing rollover requests and initial registration information associated with employer contributions.
  • Deployment of EmployerTICK version 2 in SBR2. EmployerTICK is an optional service used by employers and their intermediaries to validate an employee's identity details.
  • Full functionality to process employers' super guarantee (SG) annual statements in integrated core processing (ICP).
  • Removing the ability to create new assessments in the legacy system, quarterly superannuation guarantee (QSG). All new SG statements will now be processed in ICP.

When businesses and tax professionals use SBR-enabled software they will be able to report directly to us – without having to log on to each individual government agency website and transcribe the information from their accounting systems into each agency’s form.
