  • Superannuation account offsetting

    Over the Christmas and New Year break, we upgraded our IT systems. Almost all client financial information, including super, income tax and activity statements, is now managed in a single accounting system.

    This upgrade provides us with improved capability to auto-offset excess credits between accounts - including the ability to offset income tax refunds and GST credits against certain outstanding super debts.

    These changes don't affect your unique superannuation identifier (USI), used in SuperStream account(s), but it might affect your (pre-SuperStream) super account(s).

    Next steps:

    • Check the balance of your accounts via the Business Portal to ensure payments and lodgments have been received and processed correctly.
