    End of attention

    Lost members

A lost member is a member of a super fund who is inactive, uncontactable, or transferred from another super provider as a lost member. A member is not a lost member if their address has been confirmed in the past two years, or they have indicated that they want to remain a member.

You must provide twice-yearly reports about your lost, inactive, found and transferred members.

We use this information to update the lost members register (LMR).

    • You can use SuperMatch to search our records, including the LMR, for information about your members' super.
    • Your members can use their myGov account linked to the ATO to search the LMR for their lost super.
