  • Why is my SMSF not listed on myGov?

Some self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) members requesting early release of super may not be able to see their SMSF in the list of available funds on myGov.

This can happen if the SMSF:

    • is newly registered and the registration process is not yet complete. As it can take over a month to process a SMSF registration, the quickest way for members to access their money under COVID-19 early release of super is to apply to have the funds released from their Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) fund, via the automated process in myGov.
    • has overdue annual returns
    • has a trustee that has been disqualified
    • has a de-registered corporate trustee.

If your SMSF is not showing in your members list of available funds on myGov, your member can phone us on 13 10 20, and we will help them with their COVID-19 early release of super application.
