  • Online services for agents – help is available

    The tax and BAS agent portals will close at 11.30pm AEDT Friday 29 November 2019. If you haven't transitioned to Online services for agents you need to make the change now.

    Online services for agents is designed with integrated Help and prompts to assist you with completing tasks within the system. Use the Help button on the right side of the screen within the system for information and assistance as you work through a task. This button is available on every page except the home page.

    We also have a range of support materials available to help you on our website.

    • Webinars – our webinars will help you navigate the system and highlight some of its features.
    • Troubleshooting – a list of known system issues you may experience, with actions to take to work around them.
    • User guide – this user guide complements the Help information available in the system.
    • Key changes – includes
      • some of the new features and improved functions available
      • an explanation of the new terminology we now use
      • a list of major system updates we have made since March 2019.

    Now that over 70% of agents use Online services for agents a decision has been made to close the old portals. We understand the decision may disrupt your business and we have sought to minimise any impacts through extensive co-design with you, and running the systems in parallel over the last couple of months.

    The closure of the portals allows us to focus solely on supporting Online services for agents, a new secure system to access our services.
