  • System availability report and targets

    We understand your expectations around the availability and reliability of our systems and services, particularly at critical times when you need to use them. There are times when our systems experience an unplanned outage or intermittent availability.

    To remain accountable, we’ve developed IT systems availability targets, and we will report against these targets for six of our key systems. You can check the performance of our systems each month on the new Current year IT systems availability report page.

    Deputy Commissioner Alex Adams has said, 'Measuring the availability of our online systems ensures accountability regarding the reliability of our services for clients who interact with us digitally'.

    The benchmarks are measured against:

    • actual available hours
    • total system issue hours
    • a total percentage of hours each system is available.

    These reports do not include times when our systems are unavailable for maintenance. We recognise that at times our maintenance work must be carried out at a time that is not convenient to you. You can view our system maintenance page to plan for these scheduled maintenance times.
