  • System maintenance explained

    We perform regular maintenance on our systems to ensure they provide you with the services you need. Where possible, we do this outside normal business hours.

    We carry out three different types of maintenance:

    • Quarterly releases to make big changes and improvements to our systems, such as building new services and infrastructure. You might not always be able to see these changes but they help support intergovernmental systems like myGov.
    • Monthly maintenance such as fixes and minor changes to build and improve existing systems.
    • Weekly maintenance to maintain our servers, data hubs and other IT frameworks. We focus on speed, system security and reliability.
