  • Using your feedback to improve Online services for agents

    We continue to review your feedback on how we can improve Online services for agents. In response we have made some recent system changes.

    • You can now access information for deceased clients where you are the legal personal representative. As required by law, we will remove access to deceased taxpayers when we receive official notification of their death. You can gain access to these clients by adding them to the system and selecting the declaration that you are the legal personal representative.
    • We have condensed account details and role types on Activity statement screens into one section to reduce white space and your need to scroll when you view and prepare an activity statement. We have renamed the Not lodged tab to For action, and provide more prompts for the action required. How you prepare and lodge an activity statement remains the same.
    • When varying a PAYG instalment, you can now edit the amount shown at label T9.
    • For Advanced searches, the system uses details from your last selection to set the number of clients appearing on the page. For example, if you last chose to list 100 clients per page the system will default to this, until you change the selection.
    • You can filter the Income tax outstanding report by all clients, lodged, not lodged or return not necessary.
    • The print option in your web browser will now print to the scale of the screen you are viewing. When printing, we recommend you use the print friendly button within the system, where available, to get the best print layout for the information.

Recent changes include visibility of ATO-held securities (shares and units) records to help with capital gains tax (CGT) calculations.

    To provide feedback, select Give us feedback located at the bottom of each screen in Online services for agents.
