  • Review your client list

    It is important to regularly review your client list to add new clients and remove those you no longer represent.

    This will help to:

    • ensure your lodgment performance calculation reflects your active client list
    • avoid unnecessary contact from us about previous clients.

    You can add, remove or update your clients' details using the practitioner lodgment service (PLS), the electronic lodgment service (ELS) or the Tax and BAS Agent Portals.

    To get it right, you need to know that:

    • lodging a final return or advising a further return is not necessary does not remove the client from your list
    • before removing a client from your client list, you must update their records to remove your contact details.
