    Telephony service standard performance as at close of business 16 July 2018

    From 1 July 2018 we have received approximately 438,990 inbound calls to general queues and 64,715 to tax practitioner queues and achieved service commitments of:

    • General taxpayer calls – 84% (YTD) of calls are answered within 5 minutes
    • Tax practitioner calls – 91% (YTD) of calls are answered within 2 minutes

    Accessing the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House through the Portals

    There is currently an intermittent issue for agents trying to access the clearing house through the portal service. An alert has issued to agents and a fix is expected to be applied Tuesday evening with the service to be available from start of business Wednesday morning.

    Prevent errors when lodging

    When lodging using the practitioner lodgment service (PLS), make sure you add new clients to your client list External Linkbefore you lodge to prevent any errors. You can also refer to the PLS checklist for more information.
