    Open Forums provide an opportunity for you and your staff to interact with us in your local area. At an Open Forum you can:

    • hear about the latest updates and changes
    • raise questions and participate in discussions with us about matters of importance to you and your practice.

    Your attendance at an Open Forum may contribute towards your continuing professional educationExternal Link (CPE) with the Tax Practitioners Board.

    What we discuss

    Our discussions cover, but are not limited to:

    • the latest updates on our digital initiatives including                              
      • the rollout of Online services for agents, your new channel providing access to services currently available on the portals
      • digital communication solutions
      • benefits of e-invoicing for you and your clients
      • changes to identity and authorisation including myGovID
      • Single Touch Payroll
       
    • black economy updates including Australian business number system reform
    • our focus on agent compliance and how we are helping to level the playing field
    • the extension to the taxable payments reporting system
    • payment thinking in the ATO
    • the Tax Practitioner Board’s focus for 2019.

    How to participate

    When you register for an Open Forum, you will receive a confirmation email with the details you need.

    Numbers are limited for each forum. If you cannot make the forum or you need to contact us about your registration, you can email us.
