  • Where is my activity statement refund?

    While we process the majority of activity statement refunds without delay, every year we select a small number of activity statement refunds to check the accuracy of the information provided.

    Some of the common reasons we verify refunds include when a large refund is claimed, or when the amount varies from previous claims.

    If we select a refund for verification, we will contact you within 14 days after lodgment for more information. You can help us by having your clients' tax invoices and bank statements on-hand.

    We may also verify the information provided by contacting other organisations, such as your clients' banks and suppliers.

    We will keep you informed throughout the process – giving you opportunity to assist us in verifying the claim to get the correct refund for your client.
