Taxpayers' charter – accessing information under the Freedom of Information Act

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) requires that we publish documents that we use in making decisions. The FOI Act also gives you the right to get access to other documents that we hold, including documents that contain information about you.

You can also ask us to correct information we hold about you if it is:

  • incomplete
  • incorrect
  • out of date
  • misleading.
