• Key Management Committees

    The ATO Executive Committee is supported by a number of senior management committees. These include:

    • Audit and Risk Committee – provides assurance and assistance on our risk, control and compliance frameworks, external accountability requirements, legislative compliance, and internal and external audit.
    • Business Continuity Management Steering Committee – oversees the Business Continuity Management capability development program.
    • Communication and Research Committee – oversees our research and communication activities.
    • Law Forum – oversees the work the ATO is doing to support and shape the law system. This encompasses law interpretation, dispute resolution, and the ATO’s contribution to policy and law design.
    • National Consultative Forum – enables consultation on organisational or operational change that may affect employees at a national level.
    • Policy Implementation Forum – oversees projects that design and implement policy and legislative changes to the tax, superannuation, excise and related systems.
    • Resource Forum – ensures an integrated approach to resource management and provides advice to the ATO Executive Committee on the management of our budget.
    • Security Committee – ensures a consistent, integrated, enterprise-wide approach to security.
    • Service Improvement Steering Committee – responsible for developing the five-year ATO service delivery agenda.
