• Key Management Committees

    The ATO Executive Committee is supported by a number of senior management committees. These include:

    • Audit and Risk Committee – provides independent assurance to the Commissioner on the ATO’s financial and performance reporting responsibilities, risk management approaches, and system of internal control.
    • Resource Forum – ensures an integrated approach to resource management and provides advice to the ATO Executive Committee on the management of our budget.
    • Security Committee – ensures a consistent, integrated, enterprise-wide approach to security.
    • Integration Forum – ensures that the ATO's investment in change to support our reinvention is carried out in a holistic and integrated manner, and brings a whole-of-system user view to delivery.
    • Reinventing the ATO program boards – manage the strategic direction of each program.
    • Law Forum – oversees the work the ATO is doing to support and shape the law system. This encompasses law interpretation, dispute resolution, and the ATO’s contribution to policy and law design.
    • Marketing and Communications Governance Committee – oversees the activities and direction of our research and communication capability.
    • Business Continuity Management Steering Committee – oversees the Business Continuity Management capability development program.
    • National Consultative Forum – enables consultation on organisational or operational change that may affect employees at a national level.
