  • Browser settings to view and print

    If you're experiencing difficulties when accessing payment slips or using the 'view and print online' and 'printer friendly versions' in the portal, this may be due to the browser settings on your computer. These items open in a new 'pop-up' browser window, which may be blocked in your browser setting.

    If you are experiencing this problem, complete the following steps:

    1. Open your browser application.
    2. De-select Do not save encrypted pages to disk:
      • select Tools
      • select Internet Options
      • select the Advanced tab
      • scroll down to the Security heading
      • un-tick Do not save encrypted pages to disc
      • select OK.
    1. Turn off pop-up blockers:
      • select Tools
      • hover your cursor over Pop-up Blocker
      • select Turn off Pop-up Blocker.
    1. Turn off Google/Yahoo toolbars:
      • select View
      • select Toolbars
      • select Customise
      • remove the Google and Yahoo toolbars (if present)
      • select Close.
    1. Ensure privacy setting is set on Medium:
      • select Tools
      • select Internet Options
      • select the Privacy tab
      • ensure the slider bar in the Settings box is set to Medium
      • select OK.

    If you don't complete step 5, your privacy settings will override the pop-up blocker and trusted sites.

    1. Turn off Display PDF in Browser in Adobe Reader:
      • open Adobe Reader
      • select Edit from the menu bar
      • select Preferences at the bottom of the list
      • select Internet from the categories to the left side
      • de-select the box Display PDF in Browser
      • select OK and close Adobe – you may have to re-start your computer.
    Log in to the Business Portal

    Windows XP and Service Pack 2

    If your operating system is Windows XP and you have installed Service Pack 2 (SP2), the pop-up blocker function is turned on by default. This will block most automatic pop-ups.

    If you experience this, complete the following steps:

    • open Internet Explorer
    • on the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker and select Pop-up Blocker settings
    • in Address of web site to allow, type Link
    • select Add and then Close.

    This will allow Business Portal reports to open in a new pop-up window but will continue to block other unwanted pop-ups.
