    To claim a PSO benefit, you must be:

    When you are registered for PSO you will receive a claim form. Each time you submit a claim, you will be sent a replacement form.

    You can lodge your claim within three years after the start of your claim period. Your claim period is the time frame specified by you on the claim form.

    Lodging your claim

    You can lodge your claim through the following channels:

    Amending your claim

    If you need to amend your claim, your request to amend should include:

    • your client account number (shown on your claim form and claim assessment)
    • your ABN
    • the claim reference number (shown on your claim assessment)
    • details of the amendment required
    • the reason for the amendment
    • the signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the business.

    You can amend your claim:

    The business portal

    You can lodge your claim or send your amendment online using the business portal. Simply follow these steps:

    1. Fill in the claim form or write your amendment request.
    2. Scan or save the completed form or request to your system.
    3. Log into the Business Portal.
    4. Select the Mail service.
    5. Create a New message.
    6. Select Product Stewardship for Oil (PSO) claim from the Excise subject list.
    7. Attach the claim form or amendment request.
    8. Select send.

    Electronic commerce interface

    You can submit your claim online using the electronic commerce interface (ECI)External Link until it's closure in December 2019.

    You'll need an AUSKEY.
