Nomination of legal representative – entity
The fastest way for your clients to nominate a legal representative, such as a barrister or solicitor, to deal with the ATO on behalf of an entity is to call 13 28 66 between 8.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Think carefully about the extent of the authority you are acquiring. We will only discuss the entity's tax affairs with legal representatives according to the authority provided to us.

It is important to know:
- any nomination will continue indefinitely until you let us know it no longer applies
- nominating a legal representative does not cancel any previous nomination.
Your clients will need to contact us by phone if they no longer want your legal representation.
