  • Relationship Authorisation Manager

Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) allows you to set up and manage relationships and authorisations across government online services. This means that RAM lets you manage who can act on behalf of your business online.

If you're a business owner you can set up your myGovID on your smart device by downloading the myGovID app from the App Store or Google Play. You can use RAM to:

    • link your business/entity's Australian business number (ABN) to a single digital identity (such as myGovID) and manage your authorisations in one place
    • give others authority to act on behalf of your business/entity when interacting with government online services
    • set permissions for ATO online services in Access Manager, putting you in control to decide what level of access to give users
    • create machine credentials which allow you to interact with government online services through your business software.

myGovID and RAM will replace AUSkey and Manage ABN connections (your ABN connected to your myGov) at the end of March 2020. Together, these services provide secure, simple and flexible access to government online services. Machine credentials will replace Device AUSkeys.

To support you in making the move, the 'Import AUSkey users' function in RAM makes it easy to transfer permissions (as granted in Access Manager) and preferences of existing AUSkey users associated with your business.
