SECTION 183U   PROTECTION OF BARRISTERS, WITNESSES ETC.  

183U(1)   [Counsel same immunity as in High Court]  

A barrister, solicitor or other person appearing before the Committee has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court.

183U(2)   [Witness same protection as in High Court]  

A witness summoned to attend or appearing before the Committee has the same protection as a witness in proceedings in the High Court.
