SECTION 1337U   RULES OF THE FEDERAL CIRCUIT AND FAMILY COURT OF AUSTRALIA (DIVISION 1)  

1337U(1)    


The power to make Rules of Court under Chapter 3 of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Act 2021 extends to making rules of court:

(a)    

with respect to proceedings, and the practice and procedure, of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1) under the Corporations legislation; and

(b)    

with respect to any matter or thing that is:

(i) required or permitted by the Corporations legislation to be prescribed by rules of court within the meaning of the Corporations legislation; or

(ii) necessary or convenient to be prescribed by such rules of court for carrying out or giving effect to the Corporations legislation; and

(c)    

without limitation, with respect to costs, and with respect to rules about meetings ordered by the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 1).

Corporations legislation
does not include rules of court.
