SECTION 225   Issuing a search warrant  

225(1)    
A magistrate may issue a warrant to search * premises if the magistrate is satisfied by information on oath that there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that there is at the premises, or will be within the next 72 hours, * tainted property or * evidential material.

225(2)    
If an application for a * search warrant is made under section 229 (applying for warrants by telephone or other electronic means), this section applies as if subsection (1) referred to 48 hours rather than 72 hours.

225(3)    
The * search warrant can only be issued on application by an * authorised officer of an * enforcement agency.
