PART 3 - REGISTERING A BUSINESS NAME  

SECTION 30   REFUSAL FOR FAILURE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEE ON TIME  

30(1)    


This section applies if an entity lodges with ASIC an application for the registration of a business name to the entity, but the entity does not pay the registration fee when the application is lodged.

30(2)    
The application is taken to have been refused if the registration fee is not paid before the end of the fee payment period.

30(3)    
The fee payment period begins at the time at which the application is lodged and ends immediately before that time on the day 10 business days after the day on which the application is lodged.
