SECTION 68 (Repealed by 101 of 2006)   Books, accounts etc. to be preserved  

(1)    
Every person who is an employer registered or required to be registered under this Act shall, for the purposes of this Act, keep proper books or accounts and shall preserve those books or accounts, for a period of not less than five years after the completion of the transactions to which they relate.

Penalty: Two hundred dollars.


(2)    
This section shall not apply so as to require the preservation of any books, accounts or documents:


(a) in respect of which the Commissioner has notified the employer that such preservation is not required; or


(b) of a company which has gone into liquidation and which has been finally dissolved.
