Hide history noteA person who is appointed or re-appointed after the commencement of this section as a member shall, before proceeding to discharge the duties of his or her office, take before the Governor-General, a Justice of the High Court or a Judge of another federal court or of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory an oath or affirmation in accordance with the form in Schedule 2.
