Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975
A member has, in the performance of his or her duties as a member, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.
An alternative dispute resolution practitioner has, in the performance of his or her duties as an alternative dispute resolution practitioner under this Act, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.
An officer of the Tribunal has, in the performance of his or her duties as an officer of the Tribunal under subsections 29(9) and 29AC(2) , paragraph 33(2)(a) and sections 40 , 40A , 40B and 69A , the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.

A barrister, solicitor or other person appearing before the Tribunal on behalf of a party has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court.60(3) Witnesses.
Subject to this Act, a person summoned to attend or appearing before the Tribunal as a witness has the same protection, and is, in addition to the penalties provided by this Act, subject to the same liabilities, as a witness in proceedings in the High Court.60(4)
