PART II - ADMINISTRATION  

SECTION 15   TERMINATION OF APPOINTMENT  

15(1)    
The Minister may terminate the appointment of an appointed member:


(a) for misbehaviour; or


(b) for physical or mental incapacity.

15(2)    
If an appointed member:


(a) becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his or her creditors or makes an assignment of his or her remuneration for their benefit;


(b) fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with the member ' s obligations under section 16 ; or


(c) is absent from 3 consecutive meetings of the Board otherwise than:


(i) on business of the Board undertaken with the approval of the Board or of a committee; or

(ii) on leave of absence granted under section 13 ;

the Minister shall remove the member from office.
