Division 1   Transitional provisions relating to the merger of AUSTEL and the SMA

25   Delegation

(1) The Minister may, by writing, delegate to:

(a) the Secretary to the Department; or

(b) a person holding or performing the duties of a Senior Executive Service office in the Department;

all or any of the powers conferred on the Minister by this Division.

(2) The delegate is, in the exercise of the power delegated under subsection (1), subject to the directions of the Minister.

(3) In this section:

Senior Executive Service office has the same meaning as in the Public Service Act 1922.
