Part 2   Saving and application provisions

92   Saving - appointment as an auditor of a general insurer

(1) This item applies if:

(a) a person was appointed as the auditor of a general insurer under paragraph 39(1)(a) of theInsurance Act 1973 before the commencement of this item; and

(b) the appointment had not ended immediately before the commencement.

(2) After that commencement of this item, the appointment has effect as if the appointment had been made under paragraph 39(1)(a) of theInsurance Act 1973 as amended by this Schedule.

(3) To avoid doubt, the person is the principal auditor of the general insurer for the purposes of theInsurance Act 1973.
