117   Application provision - directions

(1) Subject to subitem (3), the amendments made by this Part apply in relation to a contravention of subsection 21(8) of the Payment Systems (Regulation) Act 1998, as inserted by this Part, if the conduct constituting the contravention of that subsection occurs wholly on or after the commencement of this Part.

(2) Subitem (1) applies whether the direction to which the contravention relates was given before, on or after the commencement of this Part.

(3) Subsection 21(7) of the Payment Systems (Regulation) Act 1998, as inserted by this Part, applies in relation to a direction given before, on or after the commencement of this Part.
