Voluntary Agreements

PPS Bulletin Number 10 is withdrawn with effect from today.

1. PPS Bulletin Number 10 explains how a payer and payee can become subject to the Prescribed Payments System (PPS) by voluntary agreement.

2. The Pay As You Go withholding system came into effect from 1 July 2000 and replaced the PPS. The PPS ceased to apply to payments that were the subject of voluntary agreements entered into after that date with the view of being subject to the PPS.

3. PPS Bulletin Number 10 is no longer current and does not apply to payments in relation to voluntary agreements that were entered into after 1 July 2000.
