INFORMATION TO BE GIVEN TO EMPLOYEES
2.10(1)
For the purposes of section
55
of the Act, the following information is prescribed in circumstances other than the circumstances in subregulation (2):
(a)
a statement that the RSA has been opened by the employer; and
(b)
a summary of the provisions of Division
7
of Part
5
of the Act relating to the cooling off period.
2.10(2)
Subregulation (1) does not apply if:
(a)
the RSA was opened by the employer under subsection
52(5)
of the Act; or
(b)
the holder of an RSA closes the RSA before the time at which the RSA institution would be required to give the RSA holder the information prescribed by subregulation (1).
